“Men, their rights and nothing more;
Women, their rights and nothing less.”  Susan B. Anthony

Our chapter does an annual celebration for International Women’s Day (March 8th) and Women’s Equality Day (August 26th).   We have added events like Love Your Body Day, Lobby Day and candidates’ night as interest and forces allow. Defending reproductive rights and local clinics from anti-choice harassment has been a strong issue for us. By participating in coalitions locally we have organized the Feminist Summit, voter registration, diversity and anti-hate campaigns, supported marriage equality and engaged in Peace activities.

Meets: 7 pm on the second Tuesday of each month at Traditions Fair Trade Café, 300 5th Avenue SW, Olympia, WA 98501.

We aren’t what we want to be.  But thank goodness, we aren’t
What we were.” Anonymous Woman
